Manchester United are set to host French champions PSG in the Round of 16 tie tomorrow at Old Trafford. With the recent form of Manchester United and the injury crises at PSG, this could be the best opportunity for the hosts to make a claim for the next round before their reverse fixture.
Solskjaer was recently in France watching PSG play in the league and it was reported that the entire squad is supremely excited for the game. And why not? This is probably the biggest match United have played in the recent years and the biggest test they will have to give under the guidance of Solskjaer.

Predicted Starting XI
Solskjaer rested some of his key players in the weekend’s league game against Fulham, suggesting the predicted XI he was going to play. The manager’s press conference is yet to happen so in case there are no new injury concerns then we should see the following lineup.
The French league leaders have been hit with a patch where some of its most important players will not be able to participate in the game. Neymar who was the first one is now joined by Cavani and Meunier as well. But Thomas Tuchel still has a number of formidable players at his disposal to form a strong starting lineup.
Mbappe and Draxler will probably be leading the attack with Di Maria playing a free-flowing role just behind them. Maria has been a key figure under Tuchel, enjoying the freedom to move and create opportunities from every side of the field. He is playing a role similar to Lingard at Manchester United.
Both Manchester United and PSG have never faced each other in a competitive game before and it is going to be exciting game for sure. While PSG topped their group ahead of Liverpool, United finished second just behind leader Juventus.
Another thing which is going to catch everyone’s eye is the contest between Rashford and Mbappe. There has been an endless comparison between the two young superstars and this game might be the ultimate showdown.
Both teams have a lot of international teammates and friends but, it is not going to be a friendly atmosphere at all. Also, VAR will be introduced into the Champions League from this round onwards so expect controversies as always.
Score Predictions : 3 – 2 win of the home side. Glory Glory Man United
