If all sums up then we can expect Greenwood, Chong and Gomes getting an opportunity in higher capacity and even two of them making to the starting XI as well. Mason Greenwood has been in sensational goal scoring form this season with 20 goals already in 17 appearance along with 5 assists. Chong and Gomes have been part of the squad before as well but tomorrow can be the day they get their deserved minutes.
All eyes will be on Greenwood and Chong who have been knocking at the first team door for quite some time now and with United’s lacking a natural right winger, Chong can be the long term solution.
Here’s my expected starting lineup for tomorrows game with Gomes and Chong in the starting XI while Greenwood making to the bench as Lukaku with for sure will be starting.
With next match against Spurs being the first big challenge for the new regime of Manchester United, we expect many of the key first team players to get the deserved rest following the busy festive season games and hence the opportunity for the Youths to play against Reading.
Whom do you think should get an opportunity against Reading ?
